TVI member, Campbell Smith, just joined Steve Carell and his new TV production company Carousel Television. This production company with be responsible for pitching new shows to NBC and other networks thereafter. Campbell is one of 3 producers working with the company in this new endeavor. Congrats Campbell on the new home!

Alan Nusbaum, founder of TVI Actors Studio, and Scott Goodhue, Talent Agent with Taylor Royall, presented a master class on the Business of Acting to over 50 of Baltimore’s brightest performers last week. Here the two are engaged in a dialogue about the number of regional markets available to the Baltimore talent. The actors came to learn about expanding their careers in the Baltimore area as well as developing work in New York and Los Angeles.

Henriette Edmonds, Professor of Acting at Howard University, welcomed Alan Nusbaum, founder of TVI Actors Studio, last Wednesday to the historic campus in Washington, D.C. Professor Edmonds, who prefers to answer to Henri, has built a long-standing relationship with Alan and TVI over the last twenty years. Many of Howard’s graduates excel in the industry due to both their solid training from the university and Henri’s emphasis on understanding the Business of Acting. Alan presented his educational and highly respected master class on building the business of your acting career in both Los Angeles and New York to a very eager and smart group of Howard’s theatre students.

TVI member, Danna Brady, just signed with the newly formed Theatrical Division of Mademoiselle Talent Agency. Danna, who’s credits include The Young and the Restless, 12 epsiodes on MTV’s Undressed, and several feature films, is excited by this new development and can wait to benefit from this business relationship. Liz, who has recently been seen on USA’s Monk and HBO’sLittle Britain USA, is currently in training but is super excited to get started. It’s not quite Thanksgiving, but TVI Actors Studio Fulltime eight week Students are celebrating anyway. Their program is over! Students from all over the world (UK, Australia, New Zealand, France, Brussels, Turkey, Russia, Denmark, to name a few) attended and worked very hard since late September. Many are staying to extend their studies. It was great having them all here! Congratulations and good work!

TVI Actors Studio member and UK actor, Henry Hereford is currently appearing in a new production of Woyzeck at the Victory Theater in Burbank.
The Gangbusters Theatre Company, recently nominated for an Ovation Award for its ensemble of TRACERS, and twice nominated by the L.A. Weekly Awards for its outstanding ensemble work, is producing it for their last show of their seventh season. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 and Sunday at 4 through December 14.

TVI Member, Debbie Campbell is on a very good run of things. A few weeks after booking Chuck, she booked a principal role on Emmy winning CBS soap, The Young and The Restless. Watch for her in episode 9038 (airing Tuesday 12/9), as a flirty Genoa City ER nurse. She treats a patient and then accidentally reveals some confidential paternity information.
