Acting School Student Books Soap

Kelly gets into an argument with her boyfriend in the park, so Jenna got to put her acting chops to good use. She met both Rob Decina and Alison Goodman here at TVI Actors Studio and obviously made a good impression on them. Way to go

Los Angeles Mademoiselle Talent Agency

Danna, who’s credits include The Young and the Restless, 12 epsiodes on MTV’s Undressed, and several feature films, is excited by this new development and can wait to benefit from this business relationship. Congrats, Danna.

TVI Member, Debbie Campbell is on a very good run of things. A few weeks after booking Chuck, she booked a principal role on Emmy winning CBS soap, The Young and The Restless. Watch for her in episode 9038 (airing Tuesday 12/9), as a flirty Genoa City ER nurse. She treats a patient and then accidentally reveals some confidential paternity information.

TVI alumna Jeannie Sconzo has just booked her 9th Under-5 role on All My Children playing a nurse. She’s bringing her real-life experience to the role, so it’s no wonder her work is so well received. And like a true actorpreneur, Jeannie produced When Beliefs Are Questioned - and stars in this new film.

Debra and Nina are actresses with a flare for fashion, which is always a great combination in the acting profession. Rob Decina only teaches at TVI Actors Studio and gives each student his book, The Art of Auditioning for Television. His next class is 3 Thursdays @ 6:30pm, October 23 - November 6th. TVI consultant books work on ‘As The World Turns’

After taking a workshop with casting director Kate Matineau of “As The World Turns” TVI Career Coach Leigh Feldpausch booked her first episode in daytime drama as the ‘Java Cafe’ Waitress. She will be on set next Friday the 26th of September. Who knew 2 years of serving tables would come in handy on set. Coffee Anyone? Congratulations Leigh.

American and German Actor Martin Gruber

As the Global Market place embraces our daily lives, actors also benefit in many ways. TVI Alumni Martin Gruber who works both in Münich as a TV series regular on “Storm of Love” and in Los Angeles in feature films just received a very special award in Nola, southern Italy for best foreign soap character, along with his cast-mate Susan Hoecke. (pictured recently in Münich with TVI’s Alan S Nusbaum)

The very successful Bavaria Film ProduktionSturm der Liebe” (Storm of Love - 28% market share average) knows no geographical boundaries - having been sold to more than 20 different countries ( Greece, Finland, Latvia, Poland, Canada……) it´s story of success keeps going and going. ( Storm of Love) “Tempesta d amore” has been a huge prime time success in Italy for the past two and a half years.

Martin Gruber and Susan Hoecke, the leads of the show, just revieved the “Premio Napoli Cultural Classic“ award in Nola, southern Italy, for best foreign soap characters. Matteo Garrone, the director of “Gomorra” , the Cannes Film Festival winner 2008, also received the “Premio Napoli Cultural Classic“.

Martin Gruber is represented in Los Angeles by talent agent Joel Klienman of Baier-Kleinman International (BKI)

Bold & The Beautiful Casting Director, Christy Dooley arrived in Sydney, Australia with a few days to spare before she begins teaching an Intensive 5 Day Program to Australian Actors on the Hollywood Casting Process with TVI Actors Studio. Here, Christy is snuggling with one of the biggest stars in Australia, the Koala Bear. This week, Christy will meet 40 other Australian stars as she and fellow casting director Nick Anderson teach this exciting and informative course in Sydney.
