Musicals and Feature Films, the working life of TVI NY Students

Adam Shonkwiler, TVI New York Member and working actor is having a great year. After coming off the National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle Down The Wind, he just finished shooting the buzz-heavy feature film The Private Lives of Pippa Lee written and directed by Rebecca Miller and starring Robin Wright Penn. Adam plays opposite it-girl Blake Lively, from Gossip Girl and The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. Next up for Adam is a run in the great Americana musical Big River at the Goodspeed Opera House. Adam’s TVI credits include the Advanced TV and Film Masterclass with Pat McCorkle, to which he attributes his easy transition into the film world from his musical theatre roots.
