You on Television !

I wonder if you are like me. As a kid, when I saw someone my age playing a character on television, I wondered, “how did they get the job?” Even though I knew nothing about casting, agents, LA or NY, the idea that if someone was on TV, why couldn’t it be me-became my mantra. I continued to have those thoughts through High School and College. Over time, I eventually achieved my goals. If there is any advice I can give (now I am old enough to pass it along) it is this; It all comes down to “Learn By Doing”. Putting yourself in the best position to learn and grow with classes, meeting industry pros, remaining teachable. That is the key. So, follow your passion, create yourself, always be the student.
